One of the Best Parts of Fall: Halloween

No doubt most of us – kids and adults alike – are in some way planning for Halloween. If you aren’t thinking of Halloween, well, now is the time to start – its only 17 sleeps away!

Every year at Children’s Hospital staff from all departments get dressed up and go on a Halloween parade. It’s a ton of fun to watch and more fun to participate in. In past years our Foundation staff have dressed up as Superheroes, the gang from Harry Potter and featured styles from the ’60s.

We join the parade and go from department to department with the kids that are well enough to get out of bed and trick or treating on behalf of the kids who can’t leave their rooms. It’s amazing to see kids get to just be kids again, and forget why they are in the Hospital, even if it is only for a few minutes.
