InTransit BC has launched the Pixel Train, an innovative fundraising initiative with space reserved for a picture of you!

In support of charitable giving and with a creative spirit, the Pixel Train project is a cultural mosaic that will wrap the train car in photos to form the world’s largest piece of moving public art!

If you want to be a star and add your picture to the train, like I do, go online to thepixeltrain.com and make a donation of $10, $100 or $500 depending on what size of photo you would like. Upload your best – or funniest – picture and become part of history. How cool is that?

A $10 donation gets you a 7×7 cm photo, $100 buys a 14×14 cm photo, and if you would like to really get noticed, a $500 donation will allow for a 21×21 cm photo.

The best part of this project, is that the donations go to four great causes including, you guessed it, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. So get the office to pool their money for a big group photo; put the kids in their best outfits; get your friends to put on silly Superhero costumes; or channel your inner supermodel to help raise money for BC Children’s Hospital.

I can’t wait to see what it looks like. I think my picture will feature me riding a horse through a meadow…now all I have to do get someone to take a picture of me riding a horse through a meadow. Can anyone help me out with that?
